School Year Tuition
Tuition is a flat rate charged monthly – September through June (ending last full week of Cheney School District academic calendar). Not all months’ activities are the same. Some months will have 4 lessons, some months 5 (a bonus lesson!), some months will be 2 lessons, a studio get-together and a recital. The charge per month is the same for each month no matter which of these items are on the schedule. The exception is for new students starting mid-month. We do pro-rate new students based on their start date for the first month.
Summer Tuition:
1-4 lessons 1st bill (Due July 5th)
5-8 lessons 2nd bill (Due August 5th)
Summer session is 8 weeks. We meet the last week in June. (No lesson for the week of the 4th of July.) Then another consecutive 7 weeks. Lessons for summer are pro-rated. Please tell us which weeks you will be attending before our registration deadline (two weeks prior to the beginning of summer session). Current students will receive an email reminder to sign up. Respond to the email with your requested lesson dates.
NOTE that pro-rated summer lessons are not available for group lessons – group lessons remain the current monthly fee for groups. Occasionally teachers are not available for the full 8 weeks. We will notify you in advance if this is the case and let you know what weeks are available for sign-up.
Lesson Payments:
To pay through Intuit Quickbooks, watch for your invoice via email. Use the View and Pay link in the emailed invoice to pay. If you would like to setup a reoccurring monthly payment through Intuit Quickbooks, please let us know by contacting Janet Hubbard: jhubbard@westplainsmusicaldiscovery or 509-230-8742.
Payments can be made via bank to bank transfer (ACH) or via credit card.
You may also drop checks in the dropbox when you attend the first lesson of the month.
