Bio – Jayden Salazar

Jayden Salazar is excited to start teaching at West Plains Musical Discovery. A recent Graduate of Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors of Music, Jayden spends most of his professional time singing and performing around the Spokane Area. He specializes in various singing styles, including Classical Music, Jazz, Opera, and Musical Theatre. He’s competed at Musicfest Northwest twice and has received two silver medals. Most recently he premiered an Opera at Gonzaga called “The Garment of Praise”. He is also in his second season with the Spokane Symphony Chorale.

Jayden currently studies under EWU Director of Voice Studies, Dr. Nicole Sonbert and plans to return to school in 2025 to receive his Masters in Teaching.
