Music Lessons

Lessons are for students with their own instrument (owned or rented) who will be expected to practice regularly on their own. Younger string & guitar players may require smaller instruments.

We offer individual lessons for the following instruments:

• Piano, ukulele – minimum age 5 years
• Viola, violin, cello, double bass, bass guitar- minimum age 6 years
• Guitar – minimum age 7 years
• Trumpet, trombone, euphonium, tuba – minimum age 9 years
• Beginner Voice – 8-9 years old*
• Voice – minimum age 10 years
  

*Beginner voice involves less singing during lessons as the voice typically isn’t physically ready for extended singing yet. More work on music concepts at these ages.

2026-2027 School Year Monthly Individual Lesson Tuition Rates:

Group lessons:

We currently offer group lessons for voice, violin, guitar, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba. We will consider offering additional groups if we have at least two students interested in an instrument that can schedule at the same time. Group lessons are a monthly flat rate, and will not be pro-rated for summer.

• Group lessons (45 minutes per week for 2 people; 60 minutes per week for 3-4):
  • $75 per person, monthly

Fees:

Accompanying (violin, viola, cello & voice students for those in 1^st three years of study)

• $40 per year (charged in September each year or at time of enrollment)

Music Fee (piano only for those in 1^st three years of study)

• $55 per years (charged in September each year or at time of enrollment)
